The first elementary school I ever taught chess at in 2018. It was a struggle for me at the beginning, but worth it. I always said, “without struggle there is no progress”. I taught 4th & 5th graders during the school day. I also taught 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders during lunch period to keep them on point too.
A safe & positive environment with respectful staff. My teen is improving her strategy as well as social skills. Mr. Romeo is a great instructor, is excellent with the kids, and motivates you to do better. Very positive atmosphere.
Overall the classes and environment is good. The teachers have a lot of patience with us. They made the me feel like I was part of the group from day one. The kids have lots of fun. The best part was that I got to play against Mr. Romeo.
