Police Department Father’s Day Event

The father’s day event with police dept. Community affairs outreach unit year 2021 & 2022.

The Young Kings and Queens Chess Club was invited to bring the mental aspect to the event. Over 65 people was playing chess. I spoke to the parents there about the difference between being a “Father” & being a “Dad”.

Anyone, man or boy, can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a “dad”.

Attending the Chess Club was the BEST Four Weeks I've Ever Spent!

November 24, 2022

As a senior player, I got an opportunity to play with other seniors and young adults. It has been years since I’ve played and I was grateful for the chance to meet other chess players. Seniors and young adults; experience and novice players were excited in anticipation of the on-the-board challenge. I adored every minute. Although this was a 4-week session, it was extended for another week due to popular demand! Thank you, Mr. Romeo for bringing this community of chess players together.
