The father’s day event with police dept. Community affairs outreach unit year 2021 & 2022.
The Young Kings and Queens Chess Club was invited to bring the mental aspect to the event. Over 65 people was playing chess. I spoke to the parents there about the difference between being a “Father” & being a “Dad”.
Anyone, man or boy, can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a “dad”.
Keep up the good work Mr. Romeo. Thanks for the effort put into making this club a success, it doesn’t go unnoticed. We are grateful to have you in the community. An outlet where future Kings and Queens can tap into an area of interest, so they can blossom into who God created them to be and stay out of trouble. God bless you and your club!
This program is so valuable for our youth. Chess is not just a game, it also teaches critical life skills. These skills will help set the participants up for success.
