The first elementary school I ever taught chess at in 2018. It was a struggle for me at the beginning, but worth it. I always said, “without struggle there is no progress”. I taught 4th & 5th graders during the school day. I also taught 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders during lunch period to keep them on point too.
I’ve been knowing Mr. Romeo for over 15 years. He has seen my children grow up. he has taught them chess and basketball. Sat down with my boys and mentored them and kept them off the streets. He’s been a great access to my family. Keep up the gd work Young Kings & Queens Chess Club we need you!
