Teaching Chess at Public School 112

The first elementary school I ever taught chess at in 2018. It was a struggle for me at the beginning, but worth it. I always said, “without struggle there is no progress”. I taught 4th & 5th graders during the school day. I also taught 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders during lunch period to keep them on point too.

This is what you can achieve!!

Grassroot do well

Mr Romeo is consistent in his care for the community as a whole. I met him when I was on a walk with my grandson and he invited us to get a lesson free and provided snack. I later went to the library where to my delight he was hosting a multigenerational chess workshop, again free of charge with giveaways. Mr Romeo has a pulse on every going on in our community. He reaches out through text disseminating events info with respect and blessing and never fail to reach out in all season and all matters concerning the community from pantry, to christmas, to making sure things in our neighborhood are affordable , but also that we are treated with well deserved respect. Thank you Sir for your consistent commitment. This type of commitment would serve us well in the political arena if you should ever consider such a move. Our community would more than benefit. Continued blessing and strengh Sir

My name is Goodwin I’m a single parent father with two kids. I met Romeo three years ago while playing in the park with my son and daughter. He approached me to tell me about his events. He ask me was these my kids and I reply that I was a single parent. First thing he said was he admired me for stepping up to the plate because we’re living in a society where men is not recognized as dads but father’s. I appreciate what he said and we been in contact with each other since then. He taught my children and help me to become a better man through interactions and conversations. God Bless him!
